The app itself is not open source, but it's built on Google's Nearby open source project. We promise not to collect any data, and all features run completely locally.

To ensure true privacy, we use a one-time purchase model rather than monetizing through data. Buy once, use forever—no ads, no subscription, no data collection. This is our guarantee of privacy commitment.

Privli supports cross-platform use (not limited to Apple ecosystem), will support more transfer methods in the future (NFC, USB, QR codes, etc.), and is completely open and transparent—users can verify our privacy promises themselves.

Supports any file type including photos, videos, documents, archives, etc. No file size limit (limited only by device storage).

The app automatically selects the fastest transfer method (WiFi Direct or Bluetooth). WiFi Direct typically achieves 100+ MB/s, with actual speed depending on device hardware.

Not at all. Privli uses WiFi Direct and Bluetooth for local connections. It works even in airplane mode (with WiFi and Bluetooth enabled).

Plans include clipboard sync, screen sharing, mouse and keyboard sharing, and more. We'll also provide optional online relay services (self-hosted or subscription) for remote transfers.

All logs are stored locally. When you encounter a problem, you can choose whether to send logs to us via email. We never automatically collect any data.
